How to Prepare
-
It is important to keep your skin hydrated leading up to your appointment. For best results, exfoliate your skin twice within the week leading up to your tan. Your skin dies off in cycles, so maintaining a regular exfoliation routine up until your spray tan is very important!
Continue to moisturize up until the final shower before your spray tan. This can can also start from the inside out, and lets face it- we all need a reason to drink more water- so, DRINK UP!
-
To ensure the best results for your experience, please complete all waxing and shaving 48 hours prior to your tan.
Exfoliate, moisturize, and complete all nail appointments 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid bar soaps and creamy body washes, as these can leave residue that may impact your tan’s finish.
If you need to shower on the day of your appointment, try to finish at least four hours beforehand. If you must shower closer to your appointment time, rinse with water at the end.
Remember, tanning should always be your final beauty step. Complete any spa appointment in advance of your big day!
-
Avoid applying any lotions, oils, deodorants, perfumes, or makeup on the day of your tan, as these can form a barrier on the skin and affect the flawless finish of your tan!
For your appointment, wear dark, loose-fitting clothing and open-toed sandals. Tight clothing may cause friction and cause unwanted tan lines.
-
Avoid sweating or getting wet before your first rinse! We will discuss ideal rinse time during your appointment.
If you get water spots or curious pet licks, just buff the area out in gentle, circular motions with a soft blending brush.
For your first rinse, use lukewarm water only- NO SOAP! It’s normal to see your bronzer wash away in the shower. Your tan will still continue to develop even after the bronzer washes off!
Hold off on moisturizing until your tan is fully developed. For best results, use a moisturizer without artificial fragrances r mineral oils, as these can affect your tan.
